Using Spellbinder dies with the Cuttlebug

Even though I've been scrapbooking for quite some time now, I just recently discovered a fantastic way to give my scrapbooks and cards even more of that "wow factor!" I'm excited to share it with you!

Most people who buy the Cuttlebug buy it for the dry embossing technique using embossing folders. That's why I bought it anyway. But did you know that you can also use it on multiple die cuts as well? It's super simple!

To use spellbinder dies in the Cuttlebug just layer your plates in the following order;

 - Place the A plate down first.
 - Then place the C plate on the stack.
 - Position the spellbinder die cut with the bumpy side facing up toward you on the stack next.
 - Then gently place your paper on top of the die cut, carefully placing it where you want the die cut to cut into the paper.
 - Finally place the B plate in on the top

Then place your entire stack on the cuttlebug and crank it through. I usually go back and forth a few times so that the die is sure to have completely cut through the paper.

Lastly, just add your beautiful die cut on to your project:)
